Daniel returned to acting in 2016 after a near 40 year hiatus having performed in a number of musical theatre productions during his teens. Since returning, his core performances have been in the theatre; most notably, Ibsen`s An Enemy Of The People (2016) at the Chichester Festival Theatre, directed by the late, great Howard Davies, Charlotte Jones` acclaimed new play The Meeting (2018), directed by Natalie Abrahami, also at the Chichester Festival Theatre and Greg Mosse`s The Hawkhurst Gang (2018), performed in two venues in Sussex close to where the actual events portrayed in the play took place 269 yeas ago. As of the beginning of 2020, along with those mentioned above, Daniel has now performed in ten professional and non-commercial plays, from diverse playwrights such as Shakespeare, Noel Coward and Jim Cartwright in both dramatic and comedic roles including, most recently, his first outing as a pantomime dame, playing Widow Twankey in a local production of Aladdin. Daniel himself is a keen film fan and so alongside his theatre work he has also taken every opportunity to get in front of the camera and hone his skills in this medium. So far, he has appeared in over a dozen short films as well as a television appearance, some corporate work and music videos. He is extremely interested in the whole film-making process and would relish any opportunity to further his experience on both the small and large screen.
